Tailoring vision and dreams seamlessly,
without compromise.

Our Story
At Inside-Out Customs, we believe a car’s interior should feel just as good as it looks — and that’s been our mission from day one.
With over 20 years of hands-on experience in the automotive industry, we specialize in crafting custom interiors that reflect our customers’ unique style, while never compromising on quality or comfort. From classic restorations to modern upgrades, we take pride in every stitch, every seam, and every detail.
This craft has been a lifelong journey for me. I got my start with a solid foundation at a local trade high school in Auto Body, followed by formal training at Wyotech in Blairsville, PA continuing with Collision Repair and specialties in Upholstery and Street Rod. But the real education came from years in the field — learning every corner of the automotive world and always chasing better ways to do things right.
We’re a shop built on hard work, honest craftsmanship, and real relationships. Whether you're looking to restore a family heirloom or give your ride a personal touch, we treat every project like it's our own.
Thanks for stopping by — we’d be honored to help bring your vision to life.

Inside-Out Customs was built from passion. A love for automobiles at the core, it’s in our blood.
John’s love for cars started in childhood and has shaped his life and Inside-Out Customs. He’s driven by a deep connection to the automotive world and a desire to bring each client’s dream car to life. Ask him about his list of cars he wants or wants to build, maybe it’s yours?

Every design is an opportunity to innovate. We love the process of transforming ideas into reality—balancing function with beauty, proportion with flow, and ensuring that when you sit in the driver's seat everything you need is within reach and just makes sense.
Meet the Owner
John Leblanc
For as long as I can remember, I’ve had a love for anything with wheels and a motor. I grew up going to car shows with Grandparents, daydreaming about what I’d build someday. I spent a lot of time staring at my dad’s old Camaro in the backyard, picturing it brought back to life — that car lit a fire in me early on. I even named my childhood cat “Chevy,” which pretty much says it all.
My hands-on experience started with my dad — we’d spend time together working on bicycles, snowmobiles, boats and anything else we could get our hands on. I also helped my uncle in his garage with countless projects, and those early days of learning, turning wrenches, and problem-solving really set the foundation for everything I do now.
I went on to study at Monty Tech in high school, and then continued my training at Wyotech in Blairsville, PA. From there, I worked in several restoration and custom shops, learning the trade inside and out before taking the leap to start my own shop.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of building a number of personal project cars — from an ‘89 IROC-Z Camaro to an ‘05 Silverado SS, my dad’s ‘77 Corvette, and currently a ‘65 Pontiac Grand Prix that’ll stay in the family for generations.
More than anything, I love being a husband to my beautiful wife Kaitlyne and a dad to our two amazing boys. They’re my greatest joy, and a big part of why I pour my heart into everything I build. This work is more than a career — it’s a lifelong passion rooted in family, craftsmanship, and a deep love for the automotive world.
